Borivli-Vile Parle belt top in +Covid cases

The Borivli-Vile Parle belt in the western suburbs is re-emerging as a Covid hotspot with five civic wards comprising 32% of the city’s total active cases. Civic officials and local corporators attribute the spike in cases to increased testing,more people stepping out for work and leisure, along with the resumption of local train services. Also, most of these cases are from non-slum areas, they pointed out.
