Malegaon blast case: 19th witness turns hostile

The nineteenth witness turned hostile in the 2008 Malegaon blast case after he denied the contents of the statement. The witness,a former army personnel, who in the statement attributed to him in the chargesheet had claimed to have met several accused, did not identify any of them except Lt Col Prasad Purohit, who he said was his former neighbour. The witness claimed he was pressured by the probe agency to give a statement.
