ITS plan for Mumbai goes for Centre's nod

The railway board will soon take a call on a proposal by the Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC) for an integrated ticketing system (ITS), which will not only be a one-stop solution for all kinds of public transport ticketing and for paying toll or buying fuel, but could also be used for non-transport needs like banking and shopping.
