Mum’s public hosps record up to 34% Covid fatality

An analysis has revealed wide variation between case fatality rates (CFRs) at Covid facilities in the city with some public hospitals showing extremely high death rates. KEM Hospital, Parel, designated to treat critical cases with co-morbid conditions, has the highest mortality among them at 33.8% --five times Mumbai’s average mortality numbers.
