Maharashtra: August hits cops hard with 51 deaths

A 34-year-old from the Chandrapur police station became the youngest and only the second woman in the force to succumb to Covid-19 in the state on Wednesday. Three other police deaths took the August toll in the force to 51, the highest in any Covid month so far.
