Mum crosses 3k mm rain mark with over a mnth left

With Friday’s moderate rainfall, the city crossed the 3,000mm mark this season. Indian Meteorological Department also issued a yellow alert (heavy rain at isolated places) for Mumbai and Thane for Saturday. There is over a month before the monsoon season ends, as the withdrawal date is October 8.
