Thane: Rtd cop cheated of Rs 28L; 3 booked

A retired Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy SP) has been cheated to the tune of Rs 28 lakh allegedly by three persons, including a husband-wife duo, who promised him to get a canteen contract in Maharashtra's Thane district, police said on Wednesday.
