Mumbai: 10% water cut for a week, from Tuesday

There will be a 10% water cut across the city for a week, from Tuesday, due to major repairs at a water filtration plant in Thane district. BMC has requested residents to keep a day’s water stored to avoid inconvenience. BMC stated that apart from the water cut, there will be low pressure in some areas. BMC will repair the pneumatic gate system at Pise Panjarapur water plant in Bhiwandi between December 3-9.
