Navi Mum: At Rs 100/kg, onion prices hit the roof

Onion prices hit an all-time high as traders said recent unseasonal rain affected supplies to the APMC wholesale market in Vashi. The retail price is over Rs 100/kg, while the wholesale rate is Rs 60-90/kg. Market experts said prices will remain high till mid-December with the expected arrival of full supply of kharif crop.
