Cops visit homes, trace abandoned baby's mom

Armed with a list of addresses of new mothers provided by the maternity wards of hospitals, the police visited more than 30 homes this month to check if the newborns were with their mothers. Their efforts were aimed at finding out who had abandoned a four-day-old girl outside the Chandanwadi cemetery near Marine Lines on January 30. ​
