Open Mumbai local trains to all: Maha to rlys

Over seven months since the Covid lockdown, the state government has written to the railways to open local train services for everyone, but with separate time slots for those authorised to travel till now, including essential service providers, and the general public, with peak hours only for the former. The government has not announced a desired date and has left it to the railways to work out the modalities. But sources said it is likely to be from the first week of November.
