CR bridges the gap left by Hancock razing

More than four years after its demolition, work is being expedited for rebuilding Hancock bridge, a major east-west connector between Dongri and Mazgaon which is slated to be open for public use by December. On Sunday, Central Railway undertook a nearly six-hour megablock on the CSMTChinchpokli suburban corridor for laying girders across tracks by BMC-appointed contractors.
