Instill confidence of commoners in police: HC

Bombay high court on Friday said an affidavit in the case of a missing elderly woman with alzheimers filed by a former Kherwadi police station duty officer—since promoted—was “farcical’’ and that it only wants the police department to instill confidence of commoners in the police machinery and the zonal DCP assured that he will personally look into the matter.
