Maha govt seeks death for 2 killer sisters

The Maharashtra government's stand is that despite the delay in deciding the mercy petition of Renuka Shinde and Seema Gavit, capital punishment for the sisters on death row since 2006 was justified considering the gravity of their crimes, clarified public prosecutor Aruna Pai on Wednesday before the Bombay high court.
