Mumbai airport continued to stay ahead of Bengaluru’s to retain its rank as the second busiest in the country after Delhi in 2021. Between January and December, Mumbai airport handled 1.9 crore passengers on about 1.6 lakh flights while the one at Bengaluru followed with 1.
