Covid cases in Maha halve to 1,600 in a week

Covid-19 cases in the state have been falling rapidly. From a daily tally of 3,502 a week ago, detections on Saturday halved to 1,635. Saturday’s tally is the lowest in 54 days since December 27 when the state reported 1,426 cases. Meanwhile, fatalities in the state rose from 15 on Friday to 29 on Saturday.
