Mumbai records 89 new Covid cases in last 24 hrs

The city's daily Covid caseload dropped to a 23-month low on Saturday when only 89 cases were detected. Across the state too, the downward trend continued with the state's daily tally staying below 1,000 for the second consecutive day -and the third time in the week. On Saturday, 893 cases were added to the state tally of 78.6 lakh so far while the tally on Monday and Friday were 806 and 973 respectively.
