Burglar flees quarantine centre, nabbed

Karim Khan, an autorickshaw driver by profession, had been arrested on April 25 for breaking into a provision store a few days earlier and stealing dry fruits and cash collectively worth Rs 4 lakh. A magistrate court sent him to judicial custody. As he had tested positive for Covid-19, he was denied entry to the prison.
