Mumbai: 'Won’t start vax for 18+ if doses not enough'

Unless the city was assured of adequate vaccine doses for the population in the 18-44 age group by the state government, the BMC may not roll out the drive on May 1, said municipal chief I S Chahal. At the state-level, principal health secretary Dr Pradeep Vyas said it was a “policy under discussion” whether the drive will kickstart in Maharashtra on May 1.
