At 163mm, city sees season's 1st heavy rainfall on last June day

June ended on a rainy note-for the first time this monsoon-with consistent showers. In the 12 hours ended 8.30pm on Thursday, the Indian Meteorological Department's Colaba and Santacruz observatories recorded rainfall in triple digits-163mm and 105mm, respectively.
