Maha: MVA biggies bid to stop BJP upset in MLC polls

Embarking on damage control following the RS election debacle, MVA bigwigs-CM Uddhav Thackeray from Shiv Sena, deputy CM Ajit Pawar and Praful Patel from NCP, and Balasaheb Thorat and Ashok Chavan from Congress-have stepped in to ensure victory of all six candidates of the alliance in the legislative council elections on Monday.
