How orphan lost IIT-Bombay seat over wrong link

An 18-year-old student raised by a single mother and orphaned two years ago after her death, scored an all-India rank of 270 in JEE and secured a seat of his choice in BTech electrical engineering course at IIT-Bombay. He lost the seat within a fortnight last month.
