Maha to give Rs 5k a month to 30,000 sex workers

The state government has decided to provide Rs5,000 a month to sex workers and Rs2,500 more to those with children attending school. The state will distribute over Rs 51 crore to more than 30,000 women across 32 districts in the state for October to December.
