Allegations show Param Bir’s co-accused extorted Rs 50L

In a detailed order rejecting the bail pleas of police inspector Nandkumar Gopale (51) and assistant police inspector Asha Korke (49), a magistrate’s court said that prima facie, the allegations clearly disclosed that while Gopale demanded Rs 50 lakh from builder Shyam Sunder Agarwal, it was paid to and accepted by Korake.
