Concrete road runs through mangrove patch in Malad

A cement concrete road has come up right amid the mangroves behind Jankalyan Nagar in Malad West. Activists and local residents say massive cutting of mangroves has been underway at various places since early this month in Malad West, even as the BMC, police and the collector’s office refuse to act upon complaints.
