BMC puts Rs 570cr trenching orders on hold

The BMC has ordered a vigilance inquiry into allegations of cartelisation in the seven utility trenching tenders worth Rs 569 crore floated earlier this month. The tenders have been put on hold till the vigilance department submits a detailed report.
