Health is a subject that’s close to my heart and that’s why I think it’s the right pick for making this my first piece in this series. My experience of being a nurse during the Covid period has proved to be invaluable during the pandemic. The experience of working as a nurse at the Nair Hospital during the Covid period has been a big learning. It also enabled me to visit various hospitals during the Covid period to check on the health or patients and take stock of the situation as the city’s mayor as well.
