Aarey road trees trimmed, police detain 4 protesters

In a day of high drama inside the Aarey Milk Colony, workers hired by the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) started cutting large, low branches of trees along the main road inside under heavy police protection on Monday morning. As alert protestors tried to gather near the site, four activists were detained for clicking photos of the pruning.
