NIRF rankings: IIT-Bombay retains its third spot, Mumbai University among top 50 universities

While the premier IIT-Bombay maintained its third position in the country in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for 2022, Mumbai University (MU) jumped several places to figure among the top 50 universities. It ranked 45. In the "overall" category, too, MU went up 15 places to bag the 81st position. The seventh edition of NIRF was released on Friday.
