Rs 1cr, 600gm gold seized from tainted official

A day after the Navi Mumbai ACB team caught redhanded the 'tainted' Alibaug tehsildar-cum-executive magistrate Minal Dalvi (49) for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 2 lakhs from the complainant through an agent Rakesh Chavan (49) on Friday evening, the ACB team carried out search operations at her two residences on Saturday and seized 'unaccounted' cash of around Rs one crore cash and around 600 grams of gold ornaments.
