Maha assembly condemns ‘Mum UT’ remarks

The Maharashtra assembly on Wednesday strongly condemned statements by Karnataka ministers regarding making Mumbai a Union territory. Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis made an announcement in this regard after the leader of opposition pointed out such remarks were coming from ministers and leaders of the neighbouring state.
