Man held for wife's death after cops nail his lie

Vadkhal police have exposed false claims of a Pen taluka resident that his wife Runali Mhatre (25) had committed suicide by hanging herself in a room on December 16. The police have gathered evidence that accused Satish Mhatre (36) had hit Runali on the head with a heavy object over a quarrel on how to bathe their three-year-old son in winters.
