Activists ring alarm over Chinese manja sale

Animal activists have started writing to the police and civic authorities in Mumbai to ensure that the China-made manja, which is basically a thin and deadly nylon thread used for flying kites, is not sold in the open market, as it not only kills birds, but can also seriously injure people.
