Thane police to probe 2017 railway mishap death

Kalwa police started investigations into the death of a teenager in a 2017 railway mishap after his family suspected foul play and approached a Thane court, officials said on Sunday. Police said they had received court orders last week after which they booked two friends of the teen who have been accused by the family of having killed their son. A case under sections 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention) of Indian Penal Code was registered but no arrests were made, police said.
