Bitumen tanker sinks off Ratnagiri, pollution feared

Nineteen crew members were rescued by the Indian Coast Guard before a tanker carrying asphalt bitumen (a sticky, black, highly viscous form of petroleum) sank off the coast of Ratnagiri on Friday, raising fears of massive marine pollution.
