HC junks PIL seeking to call orphans 'swanath'

The Bombay high court on Thursday dismissed a public interest litigation that urged it to direct the Centre to change the nomenclature for orphans in government records from 'anath' to 'swanath', or self-reliant. The plea said the word 'anath' has social stigma attached to it.
