After engine fails, AI Mum-B’luru flight makes emergency landing

An Air India A320Neo aircraft operating a Mumbai-Bengaluru flight on Thursday suffered a mid-air engine shutdown minutes after it lifted off from the city airport. With one of the two engines lost, the pilots were forced to return to Mumbai. The aircraft carried out an emergency landing back in Mumbai about 20 minutes post departure.
