SC: Hold Maha local polls where there’s less rain

Taking note of the arrival of monsoon in Maharashtra, which could create problems in holding local body elections, the Supreme Court on Tuesday said the government and state election commission (SEC) could proceed with holding polls in areas which normally receive less rainfall and the rest of the elections could be conducted after monsoon.
