Four assault, rob man on Virar station escalator; 2 held

A 37-year-old man was assaulted and robbed on a moving escalator at Virar station by four co-passengers in the wee hours of Sunday. Based on CCTV footage , Vasai Government Railway Police identified the robbers and arrested two of them—Shahrukh Khan (19) and Kiran Karva (19)—on Wednesday from Charni Road station. A search is on for their two accomplices.
