Animal activists, fire brigade help rescue animals from Appapada slum fire in Mumbai

Several animal rights groups, along with the Mumbai fire brigade, have managed to rescue dogs, cats, piglets and even pigeons in the last three days since the fire broke out at the Appapada slum in Malad (east).
