BMC meets 95% of its revised target for property tax levy

With around a fortnight left for the financial year to end, property tax collections by the civic body till March 15 stood at Rs 4,596 crore. This is 76% of the target of Rs 6,000 crore that was set as per the budget estimate. But this has now been revised down to Rs 4,800 crore, which means that 95% of the property tax target has been met.
