'UK man' on marriage site cons Mumbai woman of Rs 7 lakh

A sales manager of a real estate firm in Malad was duped of Rs 6.93 lakh after she accepted a marriage proposal from a person who said he was a businessman from the UK. Kurar police registered the FIR on March 24 and said the woman, Sonali P (31), lost her savings. She was duped three days after she uploaded her profile on a marriage portal this month.
