Mumbai's first trans salon injects pride in community

Shamli Pujari, a trans person who trained as a beautician, had a tough time getting a regular job. Each time she approached a salon, the owner appreciated her skill but refused the job because of her gender. The assumption was that her being a trans person might put off customers.
