HAMILTON, Bermuda, February 24, 2023 Shake Your Future, the first-ever free professional bartender training programme for unemployed young adults in Bermuda, is being introduced by Bacardi Limited, the biggest privately held spirits firm in the world, in collaboration with the Department of Workforce Development of the Bermudan Government. Five people will sign up for a 10-week training course that consists of two weeks of marketing and personal branding seminars, four weeks of instruction at the European Bartending Academy in London, and four weeks of job placement at Bermudan pubs and restaurants. Graduates are awarded a diploma that is recognised worldwide. 80% of programme alumni found lucrative jobs in the hospitality sector after it was introduced in countries around the world, including Italy, France, India, South Africa, and others.
