Mumbai police to probe after lawyers demand action over assault

Lawyers affiliated with several local bar associations at Metropolitan Magistrate Courts in Mumbai abstained from work on Friday following a call by the Borivli Advocates' Bar Association to protest a recent alleged assault by a local assistant police inspector on its member, advocate Prithviraj Jhala.
