Carnac bridge to be razed, will be rebuilt by 2024

The 150-year-old British-era Carnac bridge can be demolished. The traffic police have granted its no-objection certificate (NOC) to the railways for its demolition subject to fulfilment of several conditions, including its reopening by June 2024.
