Three Omicron sub-variants driving Mumbai's Covid numbers

Omicron sub-variants BA.2.74, BA.2.75 and BA.2.76 have been driving the incidence of Covid-19 in the city and have nearly replaced the previous types-BA.4 and BA.5. The latest genome sequencing report released by the BMC on Thursday found the presence of these three sub-variants in 67% of the samples.
