In 2nd rate cut in 2022, CNG drops by Rs 6, PNG Rs 4

In the second rate cut this year, amid a series of hikes, the price of CNG in MMR will drop by Rs 6/kg from Wednesday, bringing relief to over 8 lakh users, including those operating autos, taxis, BEST buses and aggregator cabs like Ola and Uber. The price of piped cooking gas will also reduce by Rs 4/unit, which will bring cheer to over 19 lakh households, reports Somit Sen.
