Maha clears Rs 20k crore Sinar Mas paper plant

The state government on Thursday cleared a Rs 20,000 crore paper manufacturing plant by the Indonesia-based Sinar Mas (Asia Paper and Pulp) group in Raigad after a meeting of the cabinet sub-committee on industries. The sub-committee also decided to extend its incentive package for industries by two years since it could not be utilised during the pandemic.
