Woman held for mother-in-law's murder gets bail

In a 2020 case where a Chembur woman was murdered, Bombay high court on Thursday granted bail to the accused—her daughter-in-law, observing inconsistencies in the prosecution case. The blood group of the victim was never ascertained, neither were the blood traces on an iron chopper recovered from the accused. A witness statement recorded said the victim used seek alms outside a temple.
